I have used Desmond's company, DEE Builders for approximately the last 3 years. He lives locally so we thought this was a plus. He came round promptly and discussed the project we soon received a quote which was acceptable so went ahead. Since then we have used him for the last three years and are satisfied with his work be it large or small jobs. My son used him recently too. His side kick Stuart maybe be very quiet, but is very astute and does not miss a trick at problem solving, they are a well balanced pair. He comes when he says, and is obliging when fitting in a very small job in his busy schedule. I can highly recommend.

DEE recently (November 2022) came out on a SUNDAY morning to urgently assess and recommend actions needed for re-roofing my Barn conversion. Having used DEE previously and been impressed by the quality of their work, I had every confidence that the approach they recommended, the cost estimates and timescales would be reliable. I cannot recommend their responsiveness and the confidence they inspire - in an industry not known for its high levels of either! - highly enough and I would not hesitate to recommend them. They are competent, reliable and honest.

We had an urgent matter of a roof leaking in several places and contacted several builders as the matter was urgent. Des returned our phone call within hours, had visited and applied a temporary solution until we agreed work and costs. At all times he was punctual, reasonable and effective! After a leaky roof ruined a newly decorated room Des came soon after contacting him to assess the problem. We agreed on the best way forward, after he'd explained a couple of options, and he returned soon to fix the roof. Unfortunately the first fix didn't completely work, and after calling him again, he was back the next day and repaired another area. All the time Des kept in touch, asking for updates after it had rained, and responding to my calls and messages promptly. I've now got him booked in for other work and would highly recommend him.
